Punjab Flood Relief
Our Relief Strategy and Rehabilitation Plan
Over 1,058 villages across 14 districts of Punjab were submerged, with more than 60,000 hectares of farmland destroyed devastating crops, livestock, and livelihoods overnight. Over 6,500 people were relocated to relief camps as the floods tore through homes and communities. We responded in two phases: Phase 1 focused on emergency rescue, food, clean water, and medical aid for stranded families. Phase 2 is focused on long-term rehabilitation constructing new homes, restoring household essentials, and helping families rebuild their lives with dignity and hope.
Overview
Relief and Recovery
Our Flood Relief initiative focused on supporting communities affected by severe flooding across multiple districts in the state. Our teams were on the ground providing immediate assistance, including food distribution, clean drinking water, medical aid, and temporary shelter for families who had lost their homes and livelihoods due to the disaster.
Through this initiative, affected families received critical support during one of the most difficult times. Our volunteers reached several flood-affected villages to ensure relief reached those who needed it the most. With the support of our partners and donors, we were able to help communities recover, rebuild damaged homes, and restore stability in the aftermath of the floods.
For many families, the floods destroyed homes, damaged farmland, and disrupted livelihoods, leaving them vulnerable and uncertain about the future. Through coordinated relief efforts and the dedication of volunteers, we were able to support affected villages during the crisis and assist communities in beginning their journey toward recovery and rebuilding their lives.

“Education is the only solution to eradicate generational poverty and unemployment. It is disheartening to see that a large segment of the population do not have access to it and I want to do my bit to help as many people of my country as possible”
