Hemkunt Foundation has been a beacon of hope in times of crisis, providing vital relief aid to those in need. With a focus on disaster response and humanitarian aid, the Foundation has impacted over 25 lakh lives and addressed 6 major disasters, including the COVID-19 pandemic.

Punjab Rain Relief Aid 2023
In Punjab, the floods of 2023 submerged villages and displaced countless families. Hemkunt Foundation’s sewa teams worked tirelessly, wading through chest-deep waters to rescue stranded individuals and animals. Essential supplies were distributed to ensure those affected had access to food, water, and medicine. Boat ambulances provided critical transportation for the sick and injured, ensuring they received the necessary medical care.
Delhi Yamuna Flood Relief

Odisha Train Collision Relief
When tragedy struck with the Odisha train collision in 2023, Hemkunt Foundation stepped in to provide support. The foundation offered financial assistance to individuals who sustained permanent disabilities, covering their medical expenses. Over 17 lakh were distributed to those affected by the incident, demonstrating the foundation’s commitment to helping communities in times of crisis.

Hemkunt Foundation lead the national effort, supporting communities to survive the unprecedented challenge of the COVID-19 pandemic.
We thank all donors and partners who responded with generosity and solidarity to the appeals made in 2020, which allowed the Foundation to support the country and partners across regions with adequate response.

Our work in 2022 builds on the progress achieved in 2020, as Hemkunt Foundation continues to support the response towards oxygen relief, ration distribution, access to healthcare, enabling food and nutrition, and countering misinformation, protecting the vulnerable by reducing mortality and morbidity rates through equitable access to resources.
Donations received through the fund went towards activities such as:
- Arresting mortality in the ‘golden hour’ through public health and social measures, including oxygen relief and providing healthcare.
- Protecting the most vulnerable by building robust ecosystems to provide health, hygiene, food, and nutrition.
- Reducing morbidity and saving lives by ensuring quality care, training of the health workforce, and access to essential commodities.
- Accelerating equitable access to new COVID-19 tools, including vaccines, diagnostics, and therapeutics in India.

All individuals and corporates can donate money and do sewa with Hemkunt Foundation. All donations to Hemkunt Foundation are 50% exempted under section 80G of Income Tax.
